Do you do things to treat yourself on a regular basis?Treating yourself is an act of doing something that makes you smile and feel good about yourself and the world around you. The act doesn’t have to be expensive and each time I receive my Rocksbox jewelry subscription, I am treating myself to a surprise and not breaking my budget. I love jewelry but also have the habit of buying pieces and then only wearing the same ones over and over. Rocksbox is a jewelry rental subscription service that provides 3 pieces of jewelry at a time for $19 a month. Subscribers are able to choose a wish list of desired necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. With each package the stylists provides options to go along with a wish list piece. My most recent package included my wish list Perry Street Abby Necklace in Black Crystal. The stylist Hana included Ashianna London Gold Drop Earrings and a Jenny Biird Talitha Bracelet to go along with it. Subscribers are given the option of purchasing pieces at an insiders price or returning them for the next box. I have to say I was extremely tempted by the earrings and I wore them multiple times. Additionally, the bracelet was funky and not something I would typically pick out but something I loved wearing. In the end, I choose to not purchase any of these pieces and returned them. Stylists request feedback on boxes (like, dislike, love) and take into consideration if you share with them you have an upcoming an event. (I shared that I have a birthday coming up and will be going out to celebrate for my next box.) Rocksbox is a perfect example of treating yourself without feeling guilty. One is given the option to wear and enjoy designer jewelry but without the pressure of having to purchase. Return time on a box is very quick and if mailed on a Monday, the next box can typically be expected by the end of the week in time for the weekend.
