Permission for Self Care

Have you ever felt like you needed permission to take care of  yourself?  Are you able to give yourself permission for self care?

Today I want to be the person who tells you that it is ok if you take some time this weekend for yourself. It’s ok if you decide to not do the laundry and go outside and enjoy the weather. It’s ok if you spend some time reading a magazine and enjoying some coffee or tea. It’s ok if you simply need some quiet away from your family and find a place to enjoy the silence.

Many times we do not feel we should take the time for any of these luxuries. There isn’t enough time. Other things are a bigger priority.

You are worth self care. You need self care. You have my permission to take some time for self care!

Self care is one of the most important things a person must do. It’s not selfish to do it from time to time, it’s necessary to maintain yourself.

Sometimes we’re so busy trying to take care of other people that we forget to take care of ourselves. Great reminder!
