Fall Swag Swap

Fall Reveal This Fall Season, I have been very proactive in finding things that I love about this time of year. When Lindsay suggested a Fall Swag Swap, I was happy to be included. I loved the idea of meeting someone new and sharing a little something that might brighten another’s day. I was connected with Alison from Puppies and Pretties.   She is a beautiful Minnesota girl who made me happy when she shared that she really isn’t a fan of the Minnesota winter months. We are both football fans and look forward to Saturdays with nothing to do but watch college football (ok, I seriously haven’t had a Saturday where I had nothing to do but I know they ex Alison sent me a beautiful navy and green scarf and a great University of Kentucky key chain. I love the colors of the scarf and that it’s a great lightweight material that will not be bulky. Of course, one can’t go wrong with anything UK themed for a Wildcats fan. Fall Swag Swap Reveal Although I didn’t take a picture of what I sent Alison,I also sent her a scarf. I knew after reading her post about blanket scarves that a scarf would fit into her wardrobe. I also included a candle and some pumpkin spice ( in keeping with the season) lotion from Bath and Body. Fall Swag Swap It’s important to take part in swaps with others as it does provide an opportunity to connect with someone that you may not necessarily connect to on a daily blog reading basis. I love Alison’s blog as she is always sharing great tips on fashion.  I appreciate that she focuses on fashion that everyone can afford Kohl’s, DressBarn and Outlet stores) Although it’s great to admire higher end clothing, one has to be realistic with a budget.

I’m looking forward to joining another event where I have the opportunity to meet someone new.

It really is a perfect scarf – not too heavy and will go with several things.
