Currently in February
Anyone else feeling that February has flown by? Last month I shared a currently post and loved the interaction I received. After some thought, I feel like this is an excellent way to review the month. It is not a technique I have used in my personal journaling but something I recommend to everyone whether you be a blogger or private journal writer. Currently in February….. Fighting: This weekend James and I both started battling feeling yuck. Kentucky’s weather has been beautiful for most of February but it has also had temperature ranges of 30 degrees overnight. One’s body can’t such rapid changes without feeling some effects. Found: One of our goals for the year was to return to church. We made the decision to try new places and both feel we may have found where we belong. Feeling: Thankful for many things over the past month and hopeful for the future. Although I’m not feeling that great right now, I physically felt good last week and also was able to sincerely practice gratitude. I am a huge believer that we need to always look for the good in life and have been able to do just that. Visiting: This was my weekend was my social weekend, Friday night dinner with friends, brunch with another friend visiting from Florida on Saturday and lunch with another couple on Sunday. One can’t ask for anything better than good company and great food. Eating: Speaking of food, we ate at Corta y Lima, a new restaurant in Lexington on Friday. The corn for the tacos is ground in house and was simply amazing. Speaking of tacos, I’ve had them three times in the last week. Review of the restaurant to come. Listening: I still continue to listen to my regular podcasts but recently found Modern Love. This is an NPR podcast taken from The New York Times Modern Love column. Each column is read by actors and actresses and I guarantee you will fall in love with it. Planning: New ideas for my life coaching clients including walk and talk. My hope is to have regular times set up for small groups to walk and discuss typical life issues we all struggle with. If you are in the Lexington area, please contact me and I can share more information.
Hoping your February was good and your March is even better.

I love these currently posts. Currently, I am feeling stressed and overwhelmed with balancing life’s many duties, but I am going to take a breather and be positive today!
I love the idea of doing a walk and talk with your clients! So clever!
I love these Currently posts, too… I always love to peek inside the lives of my blog friends and these posts allow me to do just that 🙂
I know–we’ve been dealing with some crazy temperature changes here in NJ, too, and it’s what always makes us sick eh? Hope you’re able to relax a bit this week and that you feel like your ol’ self in no time.
This month went by so quickly. Looking forward to recapping February, too <3 Sending much love, and hope you had a great weekend!
I always love reading Currently posts. 🙂 I hope you guys are feeling better! The bugs that have been going around are no fun. It’s also great that you found a church that you like and feel comfortable in! Hopefully it continues to be a place that you can return to. 🙂
Hey Sheryl! Just wanted to say hello and hope that you are having a great week <3
