Why Blogging is Different from Journal Writing

why blogging is different from journal writing

It is not incorrect to consider a blog a type of journal. However, from a therapeutic perspective, blogging is much different than journal writing.

Today I am excited to be guest posting on EmberGrey where I explore the difference between blogging and journal writing.

What are your thoughts between the two?

Come join in the discussion.

This was totally on. I’m getting a lot out of blogging and it is fulfilling. I use to journal years go when I was getting through a difficult time in my life. Then I felt the need to not do it. Blogging shouldn’t replace that place in our private thoughts that were only meant for ourselves and God. I agree wholeheartedly, too much information is being shared over the internet when it comes to our private lives. Discernment is the key. You made so many valid points. Makes me re-consider getting that pretty journal out that sits in the back of my drawer!

Michelle, I hope you will pull that journal out and start writing. I’ve heard many people say they found a beautiful journal but they didn’t feel what they were going through was worth writing about. I say every day is worth writing about! My personal journal writing has changed because of this blog but I still make time for the personal spaces. Thanks for stopping by!
