What You Missed Friday

Well Hello Friday! I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by.  Life has had me taking respites from several things in my life. As a result,  I’ve been off on my posting schedule and I’m slowing trying to find an appropriate routine again.   So what have you missed? Several things and today  I’m sharing a hodgepodge. Here’s hoping your weekend is sunny and warm.

Best Beach Books for the Summer

The title of this post says it all. Let’s get prepared for some beach, pool and patio reading!

Shiny Object Syndrome

Each of us have fallen into the trap of getting involved and working towards a goal and suddenly something else looks better. Anne from Love the Here and Now eloquently writes about the struggle with acknowledging what we may be dealing with is a Shiny Object and not necessarily something that we need to go after.

How To Make Pinnable Images For Your Blog

I shared with Amanda from Meet-at-the-Barre that I almost didn’t read her post. I wasn’t sure I would learn anything new but surprisingly I discovered several new things. Do you know how to check what pins from your site are being pinned? Go check this out!

7 Inspiring Fitness Women to Follow

I currently don’t belong to a gym and I find it helpful to use different video and workouts. I loved finding a few new names I had not heard of (and many of their videos are free).

Viscata Roses Espadrille Wedges

Working in a hospital two days a week means I have to wear closed toe shoes. It’s not easy to find cute summer shoes that are not opened toed. Sadly, the ones I have liked  have been sold out in my size. Then Facebook sent me an ad  (because they know what I’ve been searching for) advertising the wedges that Kate Middleton wore to play rugby in. Well, ok….. These shoes are extremely comfortable and well worth the money. Sadly, I ordered a size too big and when I went to exchange, the smaller size was sold out. However, their customer service is outstanding and I was issued a refund before I even returned the shoes! They have me on the wait list and should be restocked by June. And who doesn’t want to wear the same shoes as a Princess? espadrilles-wedges-womens-black-roses-viscata-0_grande

Have a great weekend!!

Hope your weekend was good too! Also, I owe you info about sweet potatoes. I typically cut them up into cubes or fries. I’ve got some recipes I can send you.

Thanks Tiff! I took the picture last Spring while out driving around some horse farms. I didn’t even know I had this shot until I came home – He was very much the photo ham. As for the shoes – I’m so glad I found them.

Thanks for sharing my post…truth be told I needed those words out of my head and onto the screen as a constant reminder to myself!

I so understand. I’ve written posts also because I needed a written reminder.
