Friday Loves and a Cash Giveaway!
Hello Weekend!!
It’s hard to believe it is almost the middle of June. Sadly, weeks and months go by way too quickly and it’s a reminder to take time to enjoy our daily lives.
On that note, it’s a great time to share what I have been loving this week.
Sangria
Anything with rum in it is my typical summer drink but this week I’ve had two equally yummy white and red Sangrias. This link will take you to 25 different Sangria recipes. I am guessing you will find at least one that you like.
Flowers
Last weekend Lexington had the annual Tour of Gardens and I walked away both in awe and motivated. My menagerie of lilies will be blooming over the next few weeks and the blooms make me smile. I also met my super organize soul sister who not only shared her 10 acre garden of flowers and trees but also proudly displayed her spreadsheet which showed what every flower was and where it was planted! (PS – the magnolia photo below is from my yard).
Weather
Remember last winter when I held my complaints about the snow until I just couldn’t stand it? One thing you WILL NOT be finding me complaining about is Kentucky’s current weather. Yes, I am likely the only person who gets excited with 90 degree days but I am a summer girl. James states I am solar powered!
Technology
I have a Saturday morning phone call planned with my friend in Germany. Our schedules have been crazy and we are way overdue for our marathon phone session. I’m so thankful for the ability to still stay connected. I may not be able to schedule a flight to see her but technology makes Germany feel a little closer.Giveaway

Wow, I wish I could be that organized! I should have gone to the tour of gardens- we are not motivated at all this year! I wish I loved this hot weather but it’s too humid for me! Have a great weekend!
