Meet Jae of Scatterbrain
This month I’ve had the privilege of having Jae of Scatterbrain as one of my sponsors. What I have come to love about the blogging world is getting to meet such wonderful and creative individuals from across the world (and people I would not have the opportunity to meet otherwise). Jae is originally from Manilla but is now living with her husband in beautiful San Diego. Her blog chronicles her new life in the United States and is a mixture of fantastic blog tips and beautiful California photographs. I always find her posts inspirational and love her regular twitter quotes of inspiration and positivity. Please take some time to get to know her!
Can you share how long you have been a blogger and the meaning behind your blog’s name?
I’ve started leaving footprints in the blogosphere since 2006, but only started taking it seriously in February 2012. SCATTERBRAIN is a blog name I’ve been using since I started writing, which I think is simply appropriate. This blog is my ‘brain dump’, and I write just whatever comes to mind. It’s ironic, though, that my blog is anything but disorganized.
How does your work differ from others?
Truth is, I only know very few bloggers who are in the same genre as mine. The least I want to do is compare my blog with hundreds and thousands of other blogs out there, but if you insist, I’d say that my voice is what makes my blog different.
What three words describe you?
Self-reliant, courageous, decisive
What three words describe your blog?
Eclectic, structured, honest
What three posts do you feel a first time reader should read?
IMHO
Coincidence: God’s Way of Remaining Anonymous
On Moving Out & Moving In
What goals or dreams do you have for yourself and your blog in the next year?
I have plenty, but my main goal for myself from today onwards is to live a healthier lifestyle. I’m not getting any younger (I’ll be in my 30s before I even realize it), and we plan on having a baby within the next three years, so it’s important that I emotionally and physically prepare myself for that new phase in life. As for the blog, well, I hope I gain more friends in (and outside) the blogging community by simply sharing a piece of my day-to-day life. It means a lot when people take time to stop by the blog to just say hi.
When you have 30 minutes of down time, how do you spend it?
I just read! Believe it or not, I hardly turn our TV on during the day.

Ah, turned out to be great except for minor typo errors (my fault, obviously)! Thank you so much for taking the time in promoting my blog in many ways you know how, Sheryl. You were a pleasure to work with! 🙂
So great reading more about you, Jae! You were so kind to me when we worked together on the guest post. Kindness is always appreciated in my book! 🙂 Hugs.
Hi, Mia! Thank you for your kind words. It was great working with you, too! I mean, I was basically asking you a favor so I don’t have the right to be rude or anything!
