The Best Place to Find Drinks, Garden and Grow!

You don’t want to miss this post!!

For the past month, I’ve been fortunate enough to have Alexis from Chemistry Cachet as my sponsor. She has a wonderful series that include a variety of coffee drinks , a fantastic green thumb (and a beautiful garden to show for it) and a bulldog that I am in love with. (Sidenote, James and I are huge University of Georgia football fans and have always loved UGA and thought about owning a bulldog).
I’m so happy Alexis and I have connected and I’m excited for you to get to know her!.
2015
Can you share how long you have been a blogger and the meaning behind your blog’s name? I launched my blog in April, but I had been working on it for almost a year before. The name Chemistry Cachet was inspired by two things. One is my love of chemistry! I have a degree in chemistry and I love all science in general. Many people have this idea that chemistry is totally boring, but I want to bring a love back to it. Chemistry is a lost art, but it is truly in everything we do. Cooking, gardening, health, nutrition, and more is all because of chemistry 🙂 Cachet means prestige or the seal of approval. I view chemistry as the prestige of life! Plus, I love the word Cachet!
How does your work differ from others? I am a lifestyle blogger, but with a chemist twist on everything. I love sharing my fun culinary experiments, drink inventions, inspiration, easy gardening tips for anyone, and fun things about life in general. I always love to add my scientific tips to my posts so my readers can learn fun new things.
Although I have a degree in chemistry and math, I chose to study chocolate for my senior research project in college! I studied everything from how it is made, how it grows, baking it, nutritional facts, and the list goes on. I have some fun chocolate inspiration planned for the blog soon. My next post will be everything you need to know about chocolate nutrition 🙂
Oh and I also blog often about my bulldog, who is definitely our baby boy (our BIG baby boy!).
If you follow me on instagram, you will see many pictures of this Bulldog 😉
