Forward and Back
Almost every culture celebrates the beginning of a New Year. A New Year represents the chance to try again, start over or begin something new.
As we prepare for 2016 and 366 days await us with promise, I also encourage you to take a few minutes to acknowledge what 2015 has given you. As we anticipate what is to come, it is equally important to acknowledge where we have been. Was this a year that answered questions in your life or was it a year that was full of questions you hope to answer in 2016.
I am thankful for the community I have developed via this site and the opportunities I have been given in my life. I wish for each of you adventure, friendship and love, strength and peace as you approach the year ahead. Remember that anything is possible!

Here’s to a great 2016 Chrissy!!! XOXO
I rarely take the time to look back on the year at New Years, and I’m glad you encouraged this thought process. I am now feeling thankful for the success I had over this past year. Starting a blog, putting myself out there in a way I have never done before. 2015 was good, and for me gave me a lot to look forward to in 2016.
You’ve done a lot of things in 2015 Stephanie! I feel it’s so important to give yourself credit for what you’ve accomplished. Happy New Year!
Very inspiring! Looking forward to following along in the new year!
Thank you Kim!! Happy New Year!
I totally agree! It is so important to look back on the year to see the journey 🙂 Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Alexis!!
I love seeing progress and looking at how I have grown or adjusted my sails if needed. The journey is every bit as important, oftentimes MORE important, than the destination. So happy that 2015 connected us! Looking forward to enjoying 2016 and following your journey!
Thank you Anne! I so agree that the journey is often where we learn about ourselves and the destination is simply where we land. I’m blessed to have found you and your blog and can’t wait for 2016!
Loved these posts this year! Here’s to an even more awesome 2016!
Thanks Christine! Can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for us.
Definitely agree! Sitting and remember all of what we’ve been blessed with in the 2015 year and welcoming that in the 2016 is important. I’ve been incredibly blessed, and to start another chapter in my life is exciting.

I love this post and I love the thought that before you file

for you already 🙂
