Girls Night Cocktail & Sweets
Fall Cocktail
The original recipe called for one cup of pomegranate juice, one cup of apple cider and a splash of rum and to mix in a shaker. I felt it was better to keep all of the parts equal (you can decide what would be best for you). For those who know me, you know I LOVE Rum so you can guess what the mixture was! It was a FANTASTIC drink and perfect for fall weather. My girls liked it so much we each had more than one drink to start and thus didn’t proceed with our original plans. I think each of us simply needed some girl time to debrief from our hectic days and to catch up with each other. We then snacked on appetizers, had Santa Fe Chicken Soup for dinner and finished off with Gigi’s cupcakes – that’s my gluten free pumpkin cupcake in the black wrapper. (And to be honest, some were sent home and not eaten on Saturday)
Life can easily get hectic but I’m so glad we schedule our monthly girls night out! I’m hoping you are able to do the same in your own life.
