Today I have decided to become a part of Weekly Wishes, a weekly link up created by Meylissa of The Nectar Collective.. The purpose of this link up is to share your goals, challenges or wishes for the week or month. As the winter weather is creating a struggle to feel productive, I am hoping that writing down my wishes for the week will help me to become more motivated and accountable (it’s so easy to lie to yourself but not so much to others).
Here are a few of my wishes and goals for this week:
1. Complete Stock Information for my Mom’s Estate: I have not publicly shared that I am near the end of settling my Mom’s estate. At some point this month we will close on the sell of her house. In addition to that I now must deal with the substantial paperwork associated with stocks. My hope is to have this complete by this week.
2. Complete my Journal Writing Training: If you are in the Lexington KY area, I am scheduled to present a CEU Training on Therapeutic Journal Writing for the Professional and Client on February 28. This is a training I presented several years ago but I need to update information and practice. I’ve been putting it off and simply need to sit down and prepare.
3. Exercise: I physically did not feel good last week and was only able to work out two days. My hope is to get back into a routine of working out in the mornings and to aim for a minimum of 3 days.
4. Gather our tax information: James takes care of getting our taxes done each year. However, I am the one responsible for gathering all of the information. Fortunately, we keep our information in one place each year but I need to spend some time organizing it.
5. Back to completely Gluten and Dairy Free: Recent blood work shows that I continue to have a higher than normal yeast count. My doctor feels that it is due to my diet. Sadly, I do allow small traces of gluten and dairy into my diet and it is only when I allow none that I feel the best. I hate to say it but I truly need to think of myself as someone who has celiac disease. (I don’t have the pains of someone who is has celiac but my body is displaying some of the other symptoms). It’s truly a lifestyle change.
Have you found yourself struggling with completing tasks and goals? Join me in creating a list and sharing along. I will provide an update on how I’ve done next Monday.
Have a Good Week!!

Wow, those are some big goals for the week. I’m sure settling your mom’s estate and gathering your tax information will take a nice weight off of your shoulders. Good luck with your goals this week, welcome to weekly wishes!
Thanks Robyn, It truly did help to make a list. Creating a list doesn’t make things seem as large and unobtainable.
Welcome to weekly wishes! I find it hard to exercise again after not going to the gym for 2 months. I do hope to get back into routine again. Anyway, good luck on your goals!
I’m aiming to work out this week too! Good luck to both of us!
I am right there with you on both the exercises and taxes – i had *gasp* four jobs last year so I have quite a bit of information to wait for. ahhh!
