Smoothie Love and Recipe
I’ve had several comments in regards to a smoothie that I recently posted and wanted to share a few of my favorite smoothie recipes that I have been making. (All are gluten and dairy free)
- 1 cup Kale
- 1 Green Apple
- 1 Banana
- 1 Stalk of Celery
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup of cilantro
- 1/3 teaspoon of Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of Chia seeds
- 1 1/2 cups of Chilled Water
My blender is strong enough that I can add all of this together with no problem. I serve it over ice to add to the taste.
Metabolism Boosting Smoothie Recipe
This smoothie is very simple and almost tastes like a milkshake (no ice needed if you use a frozen banana)
- 1 Red apple (currently I am using Gala apples)
- 1 Banana
- 5 almonds
- 1 So Delicious Coconut Yogurt (I use vanilla)
- 1 1/2 cup of milk (I use almond milk
And if you are wanting a super easy smoothie to make (and you love coconut), I suggest:
Coconut Milk Smoothie (sorry no picture)
- I Banana
- 2 cups raw Spinach
- 1 cup light Coconut Milk
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
