Smoothie Love and Recipe

I’ve had several comments in regards to a smoothie that I recently posted and wanted to share a few of my favorite smoothie recipes that I have been making. (All are gluten and dairy free)

Green Detox Smoothie Recipe

My doctor laughed when I told her I drink this when I’ve been “glutened”. It tastes very refreshing and if you drink it for a few days in a row, you will begin to feel lighter. I certainly feel full after drinking it in the mornings. 
  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1 Green Apple
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Stalk of Celery
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/3 cup of cilantro
  • 1/3 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Chia seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups of Chilled Water
My blender is strong enough that I can add all of this together with no problem. I serve it over ice to add to the taste.
Metabolism Boosting Smoothie Recipe 
This smoothie is very simple and almost tastes like a milkshake (no ice needed if you use a frozen banana)

  • 1 Red apple (currently I am using Gala apples)
  • 1 Banana
  • 5 almonds
  • 1 So Delicious Coconut Yogurt (I use vanilla)
  • 1 1/2 cup of milk (I use almond milk
And if you are wanting a super easy smoothie to make (and you love coconut), I suggest:
Coconut Milk Smoothie (sorry no picture) 
  • I Banana
  • 2 cups raw Spinach
  • 1 cup light Coconut Milk
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
