I’m a few days late with the post but I wanted to share my recent experience with the Bigs and Littles Network that I discovered a few months ago. This is a wonderful experience where you are connected with another blogger. I have to say it some ways it was really nice to be considered a “little” and be the one not knowing everything. Although, at the same time, it is often difficult being the one who has the questions and feeling like you should already know something.

My “Big” Holly from Back Home Again never once made me feel like I was crazy with a question and has been wonderful since the first e-mail she sent. She has been a place I could “vent” when my platform wasn’t working correctly, guided me in regards to the new world of social media and allowed me to take part in my very first giveaway. It’s also been helpful to hear from someone outside of my circle that my posts have been significant to her.
Holly began blogging when she and her husband moved away from Indiana to keep in touch with family and friends. She continues her blog now that she is Back Home Again with a career, husband and two little ones. I’m proud to say she recently met a weight loss goal and shares some wonderful recipes on her blog such as this Paleo Sausage Dressing. She also discussed going organic on a budget which is something I continue to struggle with. She shares an part of every aspect of her life and is honest with her thoughts. I truly appreciated this post where she discussed that blogging isn’t a competition. It was helpful for me to read (and likely I will reread). Each of us are blogging for our own reasons and hope to accomplish different things. It can become very easy to compare one’s blog and it was nice to read Holly’s words.
This experience has been wonderful and I am so thankful that Holly is a part of my blogging community. I just hope she doesn’t get tired of my occasional questions. Please make sure you take some time to visit her and don’t forget to enter her giveaway for a $100 White House Black Market gift card. (Ends on Sunday)

PS I’m so making that Santa Fe chicken this weekend! 🙂
The chicken is really good – you may want to play around with the spices depending upon what your family likes.
