This week has been difficult for me as I’ve been sick (for the first time in a year) and it’s knocked me on butt. There have also been other things which don’t need to be noted right now. Nonetheless, I kept moving along with some of the appointments I had scheduled.
Even in the most difficult of weeks there is always something which brings gratitude and beauty.
As promised, this week I am sharing some of the beautiful day lilies which are blooming in my backyard. My backyard has brought comfort this week as I love sitting on the patio and listening to the sounds. After almost three years of living in our home, I am finally able to focus upon the backyard landscape.
These flowers are significant in that I love the beauty of a Lilly and they are an assortment of my own from my previous house, my Mom’s backyard and my Nanny’s home. They make me happy and thankful. Nature is a beautiful thing.

I love these Lilies! My MIL has these growing in her garden as well and they are one of my favorite things to photograph:)
