As the official social coordinator of my group of friends, it has become my responsibility to take the lead in planning and reminding about our monthly plans.
It’s not easy coordinating the schedules of busy women and sometimes it’s not easy reminding them of the time, place and location. We typically start out with a mass email in regards to ideas and times and then narrow down to specifics. Some months are more detailed and involve activities and others simply revolve around food. (Food is always involved). This month we decided for a low key brunch at our local First Watch. Typically I send out a generic group text reminder but this month I wanted to do something different. I read about the Red Stamp app on another blog a few months ago and last night I was able to quickly create a cute invitation. You can digitally save the invitation to your phone photos and send as a text message.
I love the idea that you can instantly send an invitation for an impromptu get together or a specific event. It costs one dollar to digitally save an invitation and you can order paper copies as well. I was able to get every one’s attention and will certainly use it again. Have you used an invitation app? Would love to hear about others.
