What's Your Inspiration?

Yesterday I began the process of reorganizing my closet and part of that involved taking down inspirational pieces I have hanging on the walls.
I found the poem below years ago and it spoke to me in many ways. For years I had it taped to the inside of my work notebook as a reminder of the work I do. I had it framed to hang in my closet as a visual reminder each day of my hope for each morning.
Sadly, I will admit that over the past year I have not truly stopped to remind myself of the words of this poem. It simply became a piece of artwork hanging upon the wall.
I took some time to read and review the meaning of the words. It didn’t take long to remember why it spoke to me. My prayer has always been to live the life I have been given to the fullest. I want to inhabit my days and to live. Admittedly, over the past year there have been times it has been difficult to live each day to the fullest.
With some rearranging, I was able to hang my poem in a new spot and I plan to become more aware of these words again.
