Wishes – Hopes and Dreams

Last week was such a crazy week and I did not come near accomplishing anything I planned. After James’ hospital stay, I was simply “off” and everything took longer than I wanted it to take.
 
After an hour of fussing with my scanner last Friday, I realize that like my electronics I also need a reboot at times. Sometimes you just need to start over with your to do list.Thus I thought I would join in with Mel and her Weekly Wishes. This is a place where you can share your hopes and wishes for the week ahead. 
For this week: 
  • Coffee with my friend Jennifer. Our schedules have become hectic and we’ve had to cancel on each other over the past two weeks. Although we text and call each other there is nothing like face to face conversation. I will be seeing her Monday.
  • Back to my workout routine. I worked out once last week (and I had done five days the week before). I feel better when I workout and I miss it. I’m going for three days.
  • Complete my therapeutic journal writing presentation. I will be presenting twice in the next few weeks and my presentation needs some adjusting. I had planned a whole day for this last week but that didn’t happen.
  • Find at least two new recipes. I’m in a rut and we are needing to try some different things. Would love to hear if you have anything.
  • Start my routine of grading papers. This week marks the beginning of when my students will regularly turn in papers. I hope to keep myself on schedule so that days I need as my own stay my own.
  • New Blog Design and Changes. I’m taking a new step and in time you will be finding some different things here. This week I will be talking with a new designer who promises to hold my hand as I try some new things!
